ABOARD
A nonprofit organization committed to maximizing potential of Pennsylvania's children, adolescents and adults living with autism-spectrum disorders, helping them to succeed in social, educational and occupational arenas.
Autism Speaks
An international organization dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments and cure for autism while raising awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families and society. The organization also serves as a fundraising body and offers support to individuals with autism, their families and the public at large.
Autism on the Seas
An organization dedicated to providing for the vacation cruising travel needs of families and that include children with autism spectrum distorders and adults with similar diagnoses, and all cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Bureau of Autism Services
A division of the state Department of Public Welfare focused on providing information and support to people with autism spectrum disorders. The Web site offers information regarding autism-related research and services.

A nonprofit legal advocacy organization dedicated to insuring that all Pennsylvania children have access to quality public education.
Marc Gold and Associates
Marc Gold & Associates consists of a network of consultants that provide training and technical assistance to systems, agencies and families interested in ensuring the complete community participation of people with significant disabilities.
Mentors for Self Determination
A statewide mentoring organization for people with developmental disabilities and their families. They provide education and information about the mental retardation system based on the principles of Self Determination, Person-Centered Planning and Positive Approaches.

A state office that provides information, referral and advocacy to adults and children who are deaf or hard of hearing, their relatives, friends, physicians, lawyers, counselors and employers. The ODHH can advocate for people with hearing loss who are not receiving proper services from government or private agencies.
